When devastating earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria in February, our hearts went out to the communities affected by the tragedy. At The Butterfly Effect, we knew we had to extend our support beyond borders and help the survivors of this destructive natural disaster. Our journey to support earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria was driven by urgency, compassion, and a commitment to global care. Supporting Earthquake Relief Efforts in Turkey and Syria With a sense of urgency, we adjusted our plans and organized a fundraising campaign to provide hygiene supplies and financial aid for those in need. We quickly came up with a plan to prepare homemade lemonade, sherbet, and Turkish coffee, which we sold at community dinners (iftars), where the Turkish coffee was a big hit. Access to basic hygiene products can restore dignity, boost confidence, and alleviate the stress that comes from struggling to meet one's fundamental needs.
